I was born in Piraeus, Greece in nineteen-fifty five.
The first time I used a camera was at the age of seventeen,
resulting in turning my bathroom into a darkroom.
Later in the nineties, the transition from the loo
to digital photography took place.
In between, my studies on Graphic Design
at The Doxiadis T.G., Athens, followed by a degree
in Fine Arts in Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
Upon my return to Athens,
my career began as a painting teacher, while at the same
time I worked as a freelance illustrator.
This experience led me to become a Creative Director
for various advertising agencies.
I understand numbers as words,
words as images and images as stories.
Since two-thousand eleven I have been a member of the
Photographic Circle, Athens whilst participating
in various Photography exhibitions
